ASCS FACULTY & STAFF 2021/22

Mrs.  Decoskey- PreK 
I have been a full time preschool teachers assistant for Little Saints for the last 16 years. I have lived in the Cresson area, along with my husband Scott, for the last 26 years. We have two children. Briana 25 and Brandon 22. My hobbies are enjoying the great company of friends and family on our many camping trips.  
Mrs.  Zaliznock- Kindergarten - My family has been a part of All Saints Catholic School since 2017, when my son began attending school at Little Saints Preschool. After seeing my son light up day after day coming home from school, I chose to go back to school myself and I received my Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix this past Spring. I am extremely excited to be joining All Saints Catholic School as one of our teachers and help our students succeed in learning all that they can. azaliznock@ascsknights.org
Mrs.  Zedek – 1st grade - I am an IUP graduate with a dual major in both elementary and special education. I love to teach my first graders and see my students learning and discovering things every day. I love to travel and have been to Ireland and London, but my greatest adventure is the one God led me to which is here at ASCS! tzedek@ascsknights.org 
Ms.   Krumenaker – 2nd grade - I graduated from Mount Aloysius College in 2013 with my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I graduated from Saint Francis University in 2017 with my Master of Education and Reading Specialist certificate. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and reading a good book! kkrumenaker@ascsknights.org 
Mrs.  Swope-3rd grade- I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania this past May with a degree in Early Childhood and Special Education.  This is my first year teaching, but I could not be more excited to join the ASCS team!  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, coaching soccer, and camping! mswope@ascsknights.org 
Ms.  Moyer – 4th grade - I graduated from Mount Aloysius College in May of 2021 and am so excited to start my first year at All Saints Catholic School! I live in Puzzletown with my family and my dog, Angel. In my free time, I like to travel, spending time with my family and friends, and do just about anything outdoors!    smoyer@ascsknights.org 
Mrs. Rieg -- 5th grade - Hi, my name is Kim Rieg. I am the new 5th grade teacher. I am in my 13th year of teaching. I graduated from Saint Francis with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Special Education. I also received my master's degree from Saint Francis in Education with a specialty in Reading. In addition, I have my Special Education Supervisor papers. I live in Ashville with my husband Steve and our goldendoodle Roscoe. Some of my hobbies are painting, gardening, and reading.       krieg@ascsknights.org 
Mrs.  Hull -  6th grade - I am the 6th grade homeroom teacher, the 5th and 6th grade mathematics/social studies teacher, and the 6th grade reading teacher. This is my seventh year at All Saints Catholic School. I attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown graduating in 2012, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. I was married in 2015; my husband and I met while at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Together, we purchased our first home in Lilly, and in May 2017, we welcomed our first child, Ella.     bhull@ascsknights.org 
Mrs. St. Pierre – 7th grade - I am in my 22nd year in the field of education and my 16th year in 7th grade. I am so very glad to be back in the classroom after 3 years of working as an administrator. My husband and I just celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary! We have a daughter who will starting her first year of college this year.  We live in Ebensburg with our two dogs Rico and Tesla. Mrs. Eger – 8th grade - I am married and live in Cresson with my husband, Keith and 2 boys, Kurtis and Kory. I attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where I earned my Elementary education degree in 2002. I started working at All Saints during the 2017-2018 school year. I taught 3rd grade, 5th grade, and currently teaching 8th grade. keger@ascsknights.org   
Mrs. Daley – 7th and 8th grade Mathematics - I graduated from Clarion University in 2011 with a degree in Middle Level Education/ concentration in Mathematics.  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, playing with my kids, and learning new things. You can contact me at mdaley@ascsknights.org  
Mrs.  John -Music - I was born in Webster, Massachusetts and relocated to the California desert in 1987 after marrying an active-duty US Marine. His next duty station was in Pennsylvania, so we moved to our local area. Hired in 2003, I teach music and liturgical music at All Saints. I play several instruments including guitar, bass, piano, mandolin and native American flutes. I try to teach the children to use their talent for the glory of God! jjohn@ascsknights.org 
Mrs.  Farabaugh – Computer - I currently teach computers at All Saints. I am a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. I have taught for seventeen years. I previously taught at St. Michael’s School in Loretto and Saint Joan of Arc in Pittsburgh. I enjoy teaching part-time and being a stay-at-home mom with my two sons. kfarabaugh@ascsknights.org   
Sr. Diana Polanco – Spanish - I am a Sister of St. Ann from Mexico and I am grateful for the opportunity to teach Spanish at All Saints, a school close to my heart since it was very dear to Sr. Melany who taught here for many years. I am looking forward to share with the students another way of listening and learning a new language. dpolanco@ascsknights.org 
Sr. Maria Fiona Celina Fernandes – Religion K-5 - I am a member of the Sisters of Saint Ann in Ebensburg. I graduated from Goa University in India and was teaching in India and have experiences in Pre-K to 7 grades as a homeroom teacher, as well as a substitute, CDD and here I had upgraded my degree in Saint Francis University for Early Childhood Education (PreK-4) Certification. I had the privilege of being a student teacher at All Saints in 1st grade.  I am very excited to teach religion from Kindergarten to 5th grade. srfiona@ascsknights.org 
 Sr. Augustine Marie – Religion  I am in my final year of temporary vows with the Sister Servants of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.  In addition to teaching at All Saints, I will teach sixth through eighth grade religion at St. Michael's in Loretto this year.  I also will continue at our John Paul II Manor, as well as doing some per diem work as a physical therapist.  I am involved in music ministry at St. Francis Xavier, and I enjoy playing piano, reading, and baking in my spare time.   sraugustiemarie@ascsknights.org
Mr. Peter Mullen- Custodian - father of ASCS students, artist, and art instructor at PSU Altoona 
Mrs. Kathy Hines – Cafeteria manager – mother and grandmother of ASCS students who has cooked and served our students for many years.  khines@ascsknights.org 
Cathy Gottshall – Office Manager - I have been the administrative assistant for five years.  I graduated from Slippery Rock University. I enjoy spending time with my four children, reading, and hiking.    cgottshall@ascsknights.org 
Kathy Maurer- Principal - I am in my 10th year as principal of All Saints Catholic School. It is a job I love and enjoy every day. If I am not at school, I am usually with my children and grandchildren.  kmaurer@ascsknights.org
